Libya has truly affected me personally. J My parents worked in Tripoli and my brother and I have spent the best years of our childhood lives here. I love returning to Libya. I still have many friends here. Libya has a totally different lifestyle. Time means nothing here, contrary to what it means in our hectic Europe. People are very hospitable, helpful and are always willing to share without expecting something in return. During expeditions in the desert, camping in the wildlife, stroll by the sea or while visiting one of the many timeless Roman ruins, one comes to realize that all day to day things we consider a necessity, are really not needed here to live a content and fulfilling life.
